nomination.
My name is llse Middleton and I am standing for election as a Local Councillor in the Hills ward, City of Greater Geraldton.
The reason I am seeking public office is, to ensure that the people of Greenough have a contact to discuss any issue that they feel needs to be raised with their local council.
I am a wife and mother of three teenagers. I work part time as a Mathematics teacher and I have background in Engineering which I believe provides me with a broad perspective to work from on Council.
The City of Greater Geraldton is about to experience a period of extensive development. With projects in areas as diverse as Radio-astronomy, Agriculture, Fishing , Mining, National Broadband Rollout, Education and Transport infrastructure, there will be a significant need to balance many, and at times, competing interests. I believe that I will be able to play an effective part.
