The City of Greater Geraldton allocates funds to assist community groups in making positive contributions within the Greater Geraldton Region. In addition to the Community Grants Funding program, the City also administers funds annually through the Mullewa Community Trust.

Mullewa Community Trust

Under an agreement with Mount Gibson Mining Ltd a Structural Adjustment Fund has been established to support the Mullewa community.  This Fund is administered by the City of Greater Geraldton, on behalf of the District of Mullewa, under the direction of a Committee consisting of local Councillors, a member of the Mullewa community appointed by the Council, and a representative of Mount Gibson Mining Ltd.

Known as the Mullewa Community Trust, the annual allocation of funds will be to assist groups that are able to demonstrate that their activities benefit the Mullewa community. The Trust will look to support projects that will provide long-term social benefit to Mullewa.
