Anzac Day commemorations 2012

In preparation for Anzac Day commemorative services on Wednesday April 25, the City of Greater Geraldton advises that Museum Place, Foreshore Drive, Forrest Street and Chapman Road will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 10am to 12.30pm.
Pedestrian traffic will still be possible within this area.
The City urges all motorists and pedestrians to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and direction from authorised City personnel and contractors to ensure public safety.
Two services will be held at Birdwood House, the Dawn service commencing at 6.00am and the Main Service at 11.00am.
For those who wish to march in the Dawn Service, please meet at 5.45am at McDonalds where the step off will commence at 5.55am for the march to Birdwood House.
This year the route for the Grand Parade is slightly different - step off is from the Museum at 10.50am for the march to Birdwood House for the Main Service and wreath laying commencing at 11.00 am.
In Mullewa there will be a free breakfast at 9.00am at the Mullewa Sports Club followed by the Anzac Service at the Memorial on Maitland Road at 10.30am.
Morning tea in the Lesser Hall will follow the conclusion of the service, all are welcomed.
