The Shire of Mullewa recently welcomed ABC’s Rollercoaster host, Elliot Spencer to town as a part of their Australia Day celebrations.

 

Elliot has been described as a unique and eccentric children’s TV host and he did not fail to impress local youth who visited the swimming pool to take part in quizzes, games and general fun with the personality.

 

CEO of the Shire of Mullewa Tom Hartman said Elliot was well recognised among local youth, and though kids were initially very shy, they soon warmed to his approachable attitude.

 

“Elliot was fantastic at engaging the kids with games such as sponge races and bomby competitions,” Tom said.

 

“He certainly added a new element to our celebrations and left a lasting impression on our youth.”

Elliot also presented Rollercoaster puzzles, yoyos, tattoos and flags to locals.
