Quality Polocrosse on Show in Mullewa
The Mullewa Polocrosse Tournament on the weekend showcased top polocrosse action, with Moonyoonooka Polocrosse Club taking out the A Grade trophy against Walkaway on Sunday afternoon.
Players commended the effort Mullewa had taken to improve their grounds, in particular, sand donated and spread by the Shire of Mullewa on the A and B Grade fields to soften conditions.
“A lot of work has been put in by a small number of committed club members, to ensure the event continues to feature on the WA polocrosse calendar,” President of Mullewa Polocrosse Club, Brendon Rowe said.
“We want to offer polocrosse clubs in the Mid West the option to play at a tournament close to home, and with continued improvements to our grounds, we hope that players will continue to support the club.”
The next polocrosse tournament in the Mid West region will be held at Moonyoonooka on September 13 and 14.
